Hello everyone,
It has truly been awhile since I sent out a prayer email.
The spintacular show went really well at the park. I saw most of our very troubled yc kids there. So they heard the message of Jesus Christ. Please pray for those kids. They are very wrapped up in their way of life - being "cool." Please pray that they will seek acceptance from the Lord instead of from people or in other things of this world.
We are closing the youth center for the summer. Jim and I need a break - its been like 6 years! One of the youth center volunteers, Bre, built a hot dog cart. She goes to Swinyard Park every Friday during the summer and serves free hot dogs and drinks and tells people about Jesus. We will be joining her for the summer. Please pray for her ministry - and that many people will accept Jesus through this ministry.
We are contemplating moving the youth center to the vacant building next to its current location. It is 3 times as big. The rent is $850. We currently pay $575. Please pray that God will let us know if He really wants us to do this. He needs to provide the money for the greater expenses and the manpower to make the move. We are thinking of putting a skate ramp in the new building. That will definately draw a crowd in the winter.

The "M" family - not a lot of parental involvement there
"M" - very troubled
"D" -very, very troubled
"G" - I think he believes, but won't follow
Thank you for being faithful to pray. This ministry is truly a tricky one. Matthew 9:11-12 The Pharisees asked the disciples,"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?" Jesus said,"Those who are healthy don't need a doctor. Sick people do."
