Time for an update...

First of all, thank you all for the prayers... They have been answered...Praise God!

It is so great to know that God uses the tools he allows us to create. Alyson put a "HELP" add in Craig's list for Swather Parts. We got a call that same night from a guy who confessed "it was late, I don't know why I signed on the Craig's list but I saw your request and had to call." He had a complete JD 830 swather and really did not want to part it out...Of course I am thinking..Here is comes, big $$$$ because he knows we have an urgent need... He told me he want to get at least 5 for the swather. I am thinking, no way I want to pay $5,000 for a swather while Alyson is giving me 2 thumbs up. I told him I would get back with him... After I hung up, Alyson said, not $5,000; $500... Praise God. Being that the swather was in Pullman, we made a trip down first to see if it was worth the expense to get it home. It turned out to be in better shape than our current swather...It actually cost more to ship it than we paid... More God sightings through the whole process of getting it home..
The baler was also a blessing... Some fine tuning got us the first 400 bales until the bearings on the tine follows self destructed. Some welding on the guide fixed that (God bless Floyd at Floyd's welding)..Headed to Odesa for bearings (Walters is the only Massey Ferguson  parts house around). Started the repair process at around 10PM...Found that the bearings were too big for the posts...After scratching heads and thinking of how to make them work, ended up using a piece of tubing from a folding chair to shim up the shafts to fit...A little tack welding and we are back in business.
We were blessed with 1060 bales...
All of this did occupy my time during my 2 weeks vacation and had me on or under the equipment instead of seeing you all at Church. Alyson promises that my next visit (end of Aug) will be no work...I will catch up then.
Remember Jesus saying:
"You did not receive because you did not ask" Let us not forget this. God cares about even the small stuff...We just need to ask...
God bless you all...I am back in Taiwan (spend more time here than in Florida)...Seems a waste for spend over $1000 a month to park my car and store my clothes in Florida...
