Hi Everyone.  In case you hadn't yet heard, we're Baptizing some people this Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Deer Park, at 2 PM.  This will also be a time to hear people's stories about how following Jesus has completely changed their lives. I hope you can come and share this moment with them as they take a great step in growing as disciples.

Also, speaking of growing as disciples.  If you aren't already in some kind of intentional discipleship relationship (i.e. Life Group, one on one meeting with another believer for the purpose of growing as a follower of Jesus, etc.), maybe now is a great time to take a step of your own in that direction.  Would you consider joining a Life Group, or commit to meeting with another believer on a regular basis? The reality is, we can only make it on our own for a little while before our walk with the Lord is hindered.  We need other followers of Jesus in our lives in order for us to grow as disciples, and they need you.  Plus I can almost guarantee that if you're feeling disconnected at your church right now (wherever you attend), being in this kind of community will make a tremendous difference in your connectedness.  If you're wondering where to get started, send us an email and we'd be happy to help however we can.
